Pam Weaver's body was found by her husband Noel at the family's sheep and cattle ranch near Mitchell, miles west of the Queensland state capital Brisbane.

The stone camel, which had been hand-reared on another farm and was less than a year old, was wandering in their back yard. He had knocked the woman to the ground, lay on top of her, then exhibited what police suspect was mating behaviour.
